If you’re unfamiliar with Lookah they’re a Chinese based company with years of experience in producing affordable, reliable vaporizers for wax concentrates.

They’ve made it their mission to produce products that perform as well as the competition (sometimes even better!), for a fraction of the price.

When the Ant does run out of battery the LED indicator bars will flash counterclockwise in scrolling form to let you know it’s time to recharge.

Simply plug in the USB Type-C cable to charge it. the battery LED will remain on with all bars when it's fully charged.

However, the Lookah Ant Dab Pen still delivers satisfying hits, especially when you lower the temperature. And let’s be real: the convenience of this device is hard to beat. It’s perfect for those quick on-the-go sessions where you prioritize flavor and ease of use.

Life expectancy on the quartz cup coil also seems to be great. I’ve been using the Ant on and off now for about the past month and in that time I’ve only used the one coil.

Ese of Use

The Magnetic flip-top lid gives easy access to the quartz heating atomizer, while the built-in dab tool makes loading wax concentrates a breeze.

Reloading the atomizer is also extremely easy given the quick magnetic attachment for the lid. I was also impressed with the strength of the magnets.

Here is a guide about how to Use it:

Step 1: Open the Magnetic flip-top lid, Use the built-in dab tool to load a small amount of concentrate (about the size of a grain of rice) into the bottom centre of the quartz chamber. Then Close the lid securely.

Step 2: Turn on the Lookah Ant wax vape with five clicks of the button.

Then it will start a 10-second automatic preheat mode with a countdown display.

Step 3: Select your desired temperature with two clicks, cycling through the 3 number-coded options.

Mode 1: 3.2V, Mode 2: 3.6V, Mode 3: 4.0V.

Step 4: Press and hold the button to begin heating, while inhaling from the mouthpiece. Take slow, gentle draws for the best vapour quality.

The session lasts approximately 15 seconds. Simply let go of the button when you are done inhaling.

Step 5: Press the power button five times to turn off the device.

Cleaning

Cleaning the Lookah Ant is crucial that ensures pure flavor profiles and prevents residue buildup that can affect the device’s functionality.

After each dab, Use a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ IPA to gently wipe residue from the quartz cup atomizer and air path. Avoid excessive pressure.

In cases where the coil needs a thorough clean I’d soak it in a sealable bag with ISO for about 5 minutes. This method works really well to remove any tough grime and restore your coils to their former glory!

After you’ve soaked the coil in ISO just make sure to always rinse it with warm water and leave to fully dry before using again. This can massively increase the lifespan of your coils and save you money in the process!

The device itself also stays relatively clean but I did use the Q-Tip to gently wipe away residue from the inside of the mouthpiece on one occasion.
